Little Pengelly Farm sits in beautiful countryside which lies between West Cornwall’s north and south coasts. The 10 acre farm grows vegetables and silage we believe it was built in the 17th century. Our accommodation is centred around the court-yard which surrounds the old farm house. Each cottage has a garden or patio or you can enjoy the orchard and fields. Wildlife abounds in this area, barn owls and buzzards circle the granite hedged fields. The old harbour town of Porthleven is good for food and pubs or head for the famous fishing town St Ives. If you prefer a quiet country pub there are a couple a mile or so away.
Little Pengelly Farm is an ideal base from which to explore west Cornwall. Beaches, harbours, historic monuments, cliffs and interesting shops are all nearby. Enjoy the peace of the countryside but be within easy distance of St Ives, St Michaels Mount, Lands End and The Lizard. From crashing waves to long sandy beaches the coast here is beautiful and varied. The famous south west coast path offers glorious views for all capabilities of walker. One of the AA’s top 10 scenic drives is a few miles away. There are many award winning places to eat and varied arts and crafts to offer. The area offers surfing, kayaking, fishing, yatching and cycling or simply enjoy a saunter along the beach.
